On June 6th, community spirit and corporate responsibility came together in a powerful way as 15 volunteers from Bank of America\u2019s HOLA (Hispanic\/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement) Piedmont Triad chapter teamed up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC to support the Feeding America Challenge.<\/p>
Among the dedicated volunteers was Gissel Maceo, Assistant Vice President, Global Operations Business Operations at Bank of America<\/strong>, whose leadership and passion helped energize the day\u2019s efforts. Gissel was part of the enthusiastic team that rolled up their sleeves and got to work\u2014packing 240 pantry boxes<\/strong>, each weighing 30 pounds (six full pallets!) to support families across Northwest North Carolina. The team also assembled 272 snack boxes<\/strong> to provide much-needed nourishment to children home for the summer.<\/p> The day was full of teamwork, impact, and innovation.
