About Us

Stories That Matter is a purpose-driven blog curated by Hamuza Tezikubwa (alias Tez) — Founder and Executive Director of Tez ChildFund Africa. Born from a desire to document real-life impact, this blog is a storytelling platform that puts the spotlight on the people, organizations, and ideas shaping a better world.

We tell stories that stir hearts, spark action, and shine a light on everyday heroes — from a child learning to save in Entebbe to a youth mentor in Nairobi, from a grassroots leader in Kampala to a social enterprise in Europe or Asia. If it’s driving positive change, we want to tell that story.

While our roots are in Uganda, our vision is global. We believe that stories have no borders — and neither should compassion. Here, you’ll find authentic accounts of transformation, resilience, innovation, and hope — both from the communities we serve at Tez ChildFund Africa and from changemakers around the world.

Why we exist:

  • To amplify voices that are often unheard

  • To document meaningful impact — big or small

  • To inspire giving, growth, and global awareness

  • To connect people who care with stories that matter

If these stories move you, we invite you to partner with us — by donating, sharing, collaborating, or simply reflecting. Every action counts.
