In 2018, Hamuza Tezikubwa, affectionately known as Tez, embarked on a life-changing journey. As he walked the streets and slums of Kampala, his heart was deeply moved by the plight of the children he encountered. Witnessing their suffering firsthand, Tez knew he had to act.
Tez shared his observations with his friend, Sara, and together they resolved to make a difference. Driven by a sense of purpose and a deep compassion for the children, they decided to form an organization that would help these young lives on a larger scale.
With unwavering determination, Tez and Sara began their outreach program, reaching out to the children in need. They listened to their stories, understood their struggles, and committed themselves to providing them with the support and resources they so desperately required.
Inspired by the resilience and potential of these children, Tez and Sara took the next step. They opened an orphanage center in Kiwatule, Kampala, providing a safe haven for the homeless children they had encountered on the streets. This sanctuary became a beacon of hope, where these young souls could find shelter, nourishment, and the opportunity to dream of a brighter future.
